Executive Board

Erik Wagle – Executive Director: Erik Wagle is the founder and CEO of Dub Baseball/Softball and is the current chairman of the board for the Dub Foundation. Wagle is a veteran of youth athletics in the South County area, having grown up in Morgan Hill and being a 3-sport athlete at Live Oak HS. After playing in college and receiving degrees from Sonoma State and Saint Mary’s College, Wagle has served as a coach at all levels of athletics. Wagle has coached at Live Oak HS, San Jose City College, and Cal State Monterey Bay. Wagle has also worked as a professional scout with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals. Wagle’s leadership has quickly turned Dub Baseball/Softball into a model organization in youth club athletics.

Valerie Renggli - Chairwoman: A strategic and accomplished leader with extensive experience and a proven track record of consistently delivering value and results within Quality, Consulting, Business Transformation, Account Management, Operational, and non-profit groups across multiple industries. A catalyst for change combining tactical execution of strategic initiatives with strong leadership of cross-functional staff and development of key alliances to capture and enhance overall quality, productivity, business and bottom-line performance. 8+ years leading volunteer technology and fundraising teams to better the communities we live and work within.

Jennifer Allen - Vice Chairwoman:  Jennifer is a long time Morgan Hill resident and ardent supporter of the Dub program, as well as local youth athletics.  Allen is an employee of the  Morgan Hill manufacturing giant, Anritsu.  Allen is very active in her support of youth athletics in the area, participating in many fundraisers and community service projects.  Allen’s son has been in the program for years and she has left her mark on the program with her jovial nature and fierce support.

Ryan Wickham – Treasurer:  Ryan Wickham handles financial duties for the Dub Foundation.  The veteran coach and division I player, Wickham’s energy and positivity has left its impact in the Dub program.  Wickham is a former starting catcher for the Iowa State Cyclones and has coached in Dub, as well at San Ramon High School.

General Board
Doug Porras: Doug Porras is a co-founder of Dub Baseball and a lifelong Morgan Hill resident. Porras moved on from a great
collegiate playing career to now serving as one of the brightest young coaches in the South County area. Porras’ family has been active participants in many youth athletics sporting organizations over the last 3 decades, including heavy involvement in Morgan Hill Pony Baseball. Porras has coached some of the best teams in the history of Dub, including the 2013 14U group that ranked #1 in California and #5 in the nation.

Keith Ducker:  Keith Ducker joined the Dub Foundation board because of his immense passion for youth athletics, his desire to serve the under privileged, and his keen business.  The former Princeton football player and member of the Cal graduate program, Ducker is the CEO of Tora, a Japanese based software company.  Ducker has coached in many capacities in various sports.  He calls Pacific Grove home and both his sons play in the Dub program.

Mark Waxman:  A veteran of many boards, Waxman is well known in Silicon Valley for his business skills and his desire to serve the community.  Waxman is the CMO for the Fortune 500 company Cbiz.  Waxman’s amazing marketing skills have paid huge dividends for the expanding Dub program.  Waxman is an expert at attracting new customers in emerging markets.  Waxman is no stranger to youth athletics and Dub, as his son is a long time member of the program. 

Sarah Porras: Sarah Porras is one of the most accomplished softball players to ever come out of the South County area, and now is bringing her expertise and passion for youth athletics to the South County area. Porras has overseen the development of the Dub Softball program, and is entering her third year as the Head Softball Coach at Live Oak HS. Porras has been a staple as a coach at many local youth camps and is ingrained in the area’s youth athletics scene.

Carlton Pace:  The former Hollister Little League President has brought immense skill and wisdom to the Dub Foundation Board of Directors.  Pace has experience working with athletes of all ages and building a non-profit organization.  With his strong background in financial management, Pace has helped strategize the Dub Foundation's future plannings and dispersement of funds.  Pace is a former Division I player at UC Santa Barbara.  Pace's son is a member of the Dub program.

JD Madden:  Another veteran of non-profit organizations, Madden brings years of experience to the Dub Foundation board.  Madden's son is a long-time player in the Dub program, and JD also coaches a Dynasty team.  Madden founded a non-profit baseball program in his former home of Brentwood before bringing his services to Dub and Live Oak High School.  Madden is the Deputy Fire Captain for the Santa Clara Fire Department and has a passion for youth athletics.

Michael Hernandez:  Michael has been a Dub coach for 3 years and has made a tremendous impact on the program during his tenure.  The Gilroy native has coached some of Dub's best teams and his mentorship has been a huge asset to both the youth and high school program.  Hernandez has a passion for developing baseball in the region, serving all members of the community, and developing the young men in the program in a holistic nature.
